The following guide to contact-free car selling with Motorway is accurate as of 1st July 2021. It will be updated regularly.
Customer safety is our priority during the coronavirus pandemic. For your peace of mind when selling your car on Motorway, all our car buying partners follow government social distancing guidelines to ensure that car collections and drop-offs can be carried out in a contact-free manner.
As well as agreeing to follow government guidelines, all car buying partners who work with us have also agreed to follow a number of further steps to ensure a safe transaction and to minimise the spread of coronavirus.
These steps are slightly different for home collection (where the buyer collects your vehicle from a home or work address), and for drop-off situations (where you are required to drive to drop the vehicle off at retail premises to complete the transaction).
Please see below for full information regarding the steps our car buying partners are expected to follow on the day of sale. We also detail what we ask of you, the seller, with regards to preparing your car in advance to ensure it is sanitised and free of coronavirus.

- Any documentation that requires a signature should be signed electronically or in a contact-free manner from a distance, if possible.
